Joëlle Stocker holds a master’s in Sustainable Development, focusing on environmental change and ecosystems. She is especially passionate about the analysis of soundscapes for the monitoring and investigation of aquatic ecosystems.
Joëlle has a background in interdisciplinary research, combining musicology and environmental sciences in her bachelor, and looking at both socio and ecological systems in her masters. Aside from her passion in research, she has experience in advocacy and the implementation of societal projects through her work within organisations with a societal focus. She strongly believes in the importance of research in combination with advocacy and practical projects to solve complex societal and environmental problems.
